I dreamed of such a place as a girl. A place I could sit, read and think of all the things my teenage mind could think of. When Gaba was little we wanted to buy a cool garden structure- a house, a fort, something sturdy and pretty at the same time. No luck! We searched and searched only to find same things, that were often wobbly and ugly and cost a fortune.
So we decided to build our own garden tree house, that was not on a tree, that would be pretty, sturdy and cool. We spent four times less money on it and since it’s five years old today with no signs of ageing, I think we did pretty good job on building it!
I love my white garden and this house and the white gravel paths were the first features of the trend to come in the years. It turned out spiders and bugs dislike the colour and are never around! We paint the house every year, so it looks like brand new with a nice vintage feel to it.
Great!
Can you share the building plans? Or do you have a link to a website for plans?
Shelley- truth is we did it without any plans, we just had an idea in our heads and worked with it. It was our first “building” so it turned out pretty great. And still standing after more than 4 or 5 years 😉
Beautiful!! What are the floor dimensions? Square footage?
Hi I saw that you guys do not have plans it is possible to get how you did the roof?
Can you let me know what the dimensions are?
Did you anchor the posts into the ground with cement?
yes we did.
This is so perfect!! What are the general dimensions? I’d love to recreate this for my little girl!!
