Thailand- Railay and Ao Nang

Today part two of the island part of our Thailand trip. Part one we spend on Ko Lanta can be seen here . After a week on vintage island of Lanta we took a ferry and moved to Ao Nang. It was nothing like the lazy and laid back island we just left. The hotel was near the main street and there was lots of all kinds of sounds- from pleasant people selling food to honking and loud adds through megaphones. It was different. We loved getting out in the evening and trying all the amazing street food but during the day we just took a boat and sailed to see some beautiful places nearby. Unfortunately the most famous ones were crowded like hell. The famous beach from Leo DiCaprio “The beach” probably was there, I think I saw some of it through the biggest crowd ever- you can see the picture below. We didn’t even go to James Bond island, as it just would be the same. Instead we spent the next two days sailing with a really nice guy checking our Railay and places nearby. It was again pleasant. I’m just not a fan of crowds I guess. The views are amazing- breathtaking even! I’ll leave you with the photos to see. Next we’ll be moving to Chiang Mai where we stayed for more than a week and I think was the highlight of our trip 🙂
